Examinations & Promotions
Please note that there will be three unit tests and three examinations for students from 3rd to 7th Std.
I Unit Test August 15 Marks
II Unit Test December 15 Marks
III Unit Test March 20 Marks
I Terminal Exam September 50 Marks
II Terminal Exam Janauary 50 Marks
Annual Exam April 80 Marks
WEIGHTAGE TO BE TAKEN FOR ANNUAL EXAM
Terminal Exams 50 %
Annual Exams 40 %
Unit Test 5 %
Internal Assessement 5 %
The minimum requirement for passing is 35 % in each subject.
Only those students who pass in all subjects in the final result have the right to be promoted according to the school promotion rules approved by the educational authorities.
In case the pupil is not able to attend the annual exam due to illness, the promotion will be decided on the basis of his / her performance in terminal exams.
There will be no retest at a later date.
For Std. I & II there will be two assessements and annual examination. The Children will have activity based evaluations and oral test regularly.
